Your Guide to the #TOB2021 Take Out Program
We are very excited to announce our Winter Taste of Burlington program, presented by PV&V Insurance, is back with a whole new pandemic twist. This year we’re encouraging everyone to #TakeOutToHelpOut with all 55 restaurants offering take out specials!
Join us from February 18 to March 21 and eat out to your heart’s content. You’ll be supporting our amazing local restaurants and enjoying amazing deals at the same time.
You can view all the specials on the website or by signing up for the passport, but we thought we’d highlight a few here, so you can see what you have to look forward to!
Dine In
We’ve had lots of inquiries now that government regulations have changed and restaurants are allowed to have 10 diners inside, if the restaurants are offering their TOB menus inside for dine-in. Many are offering this and we’ve listed them all on the passport under Dine In category. However, with only 10 diners allowed please reserve in advance. Many restaurants aren’t offering it, as their specials were geared to take-out.
Frozen Meals
If you’re the type to hunker down and only go out for necessities, may we suggest filling your freezer with meals from Familia Fine Foods. Or order some delicious savoury and fruit pies from That Pie Place who are new to the program this winter. Nuvo Taste is featuring a frozen soup and entrée special or a soup subscription for a fantastic price!
International Cuisine
Are you itching for a vacation? Imagine you’re visiting the Caribbean with some Jamaican fare from VIC Caters. Try El Inka for some Peruvian Cuisine or take a trip to Greece with the Mediterranean Fish Platter from Mythos Greek Cuisine. Definitely don’t miss 7 Spice Bar and Masala Grill. So many great flavours and culinary delights to enjoy!
Prix-Fixe
Adverse to change? Enjoy a classic TOB prix-fixe take out meal at Pier 53, The Keg Steakhouse and Bar, West Plains Bistro, Pepe and Lela’s Eatery, Downtown Bistro and Grill, Barra Fion, The Martini House, Loch Side Bar and Lounge, Spencer’s at the Waterfront, Pepperwood Bistro, The Rock Garden Cafe at RBG or Scaddabush Italian Kitchen and Bar to name a few.
Game Night
There’s even great options for game days or movie nights. The Dickens and Pluckers Wing and Crab Shack have great burgers and wings combos. Black Swan Pub and Grill has great deals for game night eats. The North Coal has bundles including mix and match beers.
Have a meat craving? Then you have to check out the Smoked Sampler Bundle from Smoked by URG, or grab a bucket of fried chicken from The Coop Wicked Chicken.
Date Night
If you’re looking for a special for two for you and your bubble buddy check out the menus featured by Rust Bistro Bar,Boon Burger Cafe, Burro Tacos, Milestones, Brant Pump and Patio, Boston Pizza (North and South), The Express, Joe Dog’s Gasbar and Grill, The Market by the Platter Company and Culaccino.

Family Meals
Want more family time? Industria Pizzeria and Bar, Uptown Social House and The Tin Cup are all offering family meal bundles. Wild Wing Burlington has several packages with wings for all!
Cook at Home
Take Home Cook yourself meal kits are new and are available at Turtle Jacks (Appleby and Mapleview) and Earl’s.
Pasta
Craving carbs? Check out Paradiso’s pasta specials. Cima on Brant has a special on their pasta and pizzas.
Gluten Free / Vegetarian
On Mondays and Tuesdays The Judge and Jury makes their entire menu gluten free. Lettuce Love is always gluten free and vegan. Beertown always has great vegetarian options on their menu.
