Loch Side Bar & Lounge
Loch Side Bar and Lounge serves classic Scottish dishes with a modern spin, as well as local favorites. They feature a patio which overlooks Spencer Smith Park and Lake Ontario. The Dickens is a classic pub located in downtown Burlington that hosts a variety of music events. An open mic night takes place on Wednesday followed by karaoke on Thursday and live bands on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. The Slye Fox is a British style pub in mid-Burlington featuring a concert stage. They have resumed live music on Friday nights which usually begins at 8:30pm. It is recommended that you call the restaurant at 905 333 4994 to confirm start times and lineup.
QB’s Sports Bar
QB’s is a classic sports bar with a lively environment. Live music is resuming on Saturday nights usually starting 9:00pm or 10:00pm to accommodate for that night’s sporting events. It is recommended that you call ahead to confirm at 905 637 9797.
Carrigan Arms is a classic pub in north Burlington that will return to live music beginning on August 8th. Show off your own musical talent with karaoke on Friday night and then enjoy the talent of local artists on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday afternoon the “Blues Sermon” featuring blues and 70s rock duos takes place from 3:00pm-6:00pm. On Sunday afternoon enjoy a country music duo from 2:00pm-6:00pm. Uptown Social House
Uptown Social House is another one of Burlington’s many great pubs. Various unique live music events take place here each week. On Thursday nights, a rotating artist will perform. You can reach the restaurant at 905 331 4700 for questions about the lineup. On Friday and Saturday from 9:00pm to 12:00pm and Sunday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, dueling pianos, which is known as the most interactive show in town, takes place. Events at this venue are guaranteed to be full of familiar tunes, lots of singing and laughter. Reservations are strongly recommended for dueling pianos shows. Finally, on Saturday afternoon from 1:30pm-5:00pm the James Anthony band performs with a weekly rotating guest.
District Kitchen + Bar
District Kitchen + Bar is a casual eatery with an impressive selection of drinks including local craft beer. The restaurant features live music with acoustic sessions on Thursday nights from 7:30pm – 10:30pm. Located in Aldershot, it’s a must visit.
The Black Swan is a classic pub with a down to earth setting and a large, covered patio. On Fridays starting at 9:30pm the pub features a variety of live bands. Additionally, on most Saturdays a live matinee takes place from 2:00pm to 5:00pm followed by your own personal chance to show off during karaoke starting at 9:30pm. Ireland House Concert Series
The museum will be making use of their garden stage this summer by spotlighting local musicians. The admission follows a ‘pay what you can’ rule and you should bring your own blanket or lawn chair if you plan to attend. These events are taking place on every other Friday night in July and August from 7:30pm – 8:00pm The lineup is presented below.
