Dad’s big day is quickly approaching and if you’re looking for meal ideas, we’ve got you covered. Lots of #BurlON businesses and restaurants are offering services so you can support local AND celebrate Dad at the same time.

If you want to do a nice bbq at home, but don’t feel like getting all the groceries organized and bought, then several restaurants can help you as they sell their BBQ kits. Jake’s Grill & Oyster House offer dinner kits that include all seasonings and cooking instructions – plus lemon loaf cake with fresh berries for dessert! You can choose ribs, burgers, steaks or salmon. Dad has to like one of those! Studebaker Pub and Diner has a fantastic grilled meats platter that is sure to be delicious. The Lord Nelson Steak House is selling a Father’s Day gift pack that has 2 rib eye steaks, 2 New York Strips, a rack of baby back ribs, 2 pieces of salmon and 6 Stella Artois. A meal fit for a king! And Loondocks is also offering a fabulous BBQ Meal Kit: Angus striploin steaks, port wine demi-glace sauce, bacon wrapped Ontario asparagus, roasted potatoes, caesar calad and maple cheesecake to top it all off (available for pick up or $9 for delivery). Spencer’s at the Waterfront has a BBQ Box that even includes the Dad’s Root Beer and pecan pie!

Martini House is offering a curbside Ribfest all Father’s Day weekend long. Friday-Sunday there will be a BBQ on the patio. Pre-order or stop by for take-out. Don’t miss Chef Jayke’s smoked Jack Daniels rib sauce. Yum!

If characuterie is your thing then make sure you contact The Platter Company for one of their awesome boards. Options for 2 people, 4 people, or call and inquire about larger platters as well. The Block Co in downtown Burlington also do great characuterie boards, so reach out to them as well if you are interested.

Nuvo Taste is offering a Feast for 4 for $129 plus tax or for 2 for $69 plus tax. Available to order until June 17 at 8:00 pm. Included is your choice of salad, main, vegetable side and dessert.

Dad won’t be disappointed when you get dinner from Familia Fine Foods. They’ve got a 3 course dinner that can be delivered on Sunday, and serve from 2-8 people.

If breakfast is more your thing, then Mount Royal Family Restaurant is offering a super breakfast for super Dads. Their Father’s Day special is $14.95 and includes 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, hashbrowns, a pancake and french toast and a side of toast.

If you’re craving Greek food, then Mythos has you covered. They are offering a Cyprus Meze menu by pre-order and then open at 1:00 pm on Father’s Day. The cost is $32.95/person.

Looking for something sweet for Dad? La Creme de la Creme in Downtown Burlington is offering a delicious smores kit. Kick back with Dad around a campfire and enjoy some tasty smores with their decadent Belgian chocolate squares.

And of course, the day wouldn’t be complete without recognizing Dad with beer from a local #BurlON brewery. Order Nickel Brook Brewing for delivery; they have a great assortment of craft beer.

Cheers to all the Dads and thanks for all you do!
