We’ve got some great places to grab a cuppa on the go or sit and enjoy in-house. Read on for some great options in Burlington.

Lola Choco Bar & Sweet House

This is a must visit! Located in the quaint Village Square in Downtown Burlington, Lola Choco Bar & Sweet House is the cutest little spot. With comfy arm chairs and a homey feel, it’s the perfect spot to spend time catching up with a friend. With fresh baked goods, yummy treats and their famous drinking chocolate (seasonal), you will look forward to your next visit. They also offer outdoor tables on the cobblestone paths of Village Square.

Lakeshore Coffee House

Located on the Lakeshore in Downtown Burlington, this is a popular local spot. Offering a patio that is great for people watching and homemade treats and light lunches, with vegan & gluten free options available. Serving organic fair trade coffee and a great selection of ice cream as well.

Peach Coffee Co

This is Burlington’s newest coffee shop which has been welcomed with open arms. Located in Aldershot on Plains Road and open seven days a week. Guaranteed to find peach, love & happiness. Stop in for your daily coffee, tea and savoury snacks.

Tamp Coffee Co.

With two downtown locations for you to visit, their motto is ‘Real Baristas. Real Good Coffee.’ Featuring coffee roasted locally in the GTA and great food, both savoury & sweet. Their baristas put their love for coffee in each cup, crafting each and every one.

JC’s Hot Bagels Cafe & Bakery

Open 7 am-3 pm daily if you are a bagel lover, this is the spot for you. Located in south Burlington, at Guelph Street and New Street. With homemade bagels made on-site, enjoy one with a coffee/tea at one of their tables or outside on the small patio. Their breakfast/lunch sandwiches are a must try, loaded with fresh ingredients and full of flavour.

Coffee Culture Cafe & Eatery

This is another busy cafe located in Downtown Burlington, located on the corner of Brant Street and Elgin Street. With a large side patio, it’s a great spot to grab a cuppa and sit outside with a book or with friends and pass the afternoon by. Offering an extensive menu of hot & cold beverages, salads, sandwiches and treats.

Kelly’s Bake Shoppe

Make your day awesome with a visit to Kelly’s Bake Shoppe. Plant-based, gluten-free, peanut-free and soy-free yet amazingly delicious. Famous for their cupcakes but trust us when we say, you can’t go wrong with any of their treats. Located in Downtown Burlington on Brant Street and open daily (except Mondays).

Of course, Burlington is also home to lots of Starbucks and Tim Horton’s that also make a great cuppa and offer light fare. However, we wanted to feature the smaller, independent stores for this post. Enjoy!
