Kelly’s Bake Shoppe is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free and 100% plant based. Kelly’s Bakeshop is located at 401 Brant Street in Downtown Burlington and just celebrated their 10th anniversary in Burlington.
All of Kelly’s Bakeshop treats are delicious but, their doughnuts are a must try! Cinnamon Sugar and Double Chocolate doughnuts are available every weekend and are baked, not fried making them a healthier option! Doughnuts are also available for pre-order.
This shop takes donuts to a whole new level with some of their crazy flavors. Duck Donuts is located at 510 Pinedale Ave off Appleby Line and is fairly new to Burlington. They are a chain in the United States and we are happy that the owners decided to open one here in Burlington.
All their doughnuts are freshly made to order, with flavours such as maple bacon, Pina Colada, Peanut butter and Jelly, and lots more. Duck Donuts are sure to have something for everyone as they have an option to customize your own doughnut choosing from 20 of their toppings. Watch your donut made in front of you.
Bloomer’s is Burlington’s newest Donut shop! Bloomers is vegan and also offers delicious coffee, tea and other baked goods, but they are known for their donuts. With several locations in Toronto, they are the newest addition in Burlington. Located at 1401 Plains Road East, just east of Brant Street.
Each doughnut is handcrafted and made fresh every morning and sometimes several times through the day as they do sell out. Their doughnut flavors vary from classics such as vanilla sprinkles to seasonal specials such as cherry almond cheesecake.
The Sunshine Doughnut Company not only offer delicious doughnut’s but is also worth a visit just for the photos ops! Their Sunshine Doughnut mural and large rooftop donut makes it hard not to snap a quick pic. The Sunshine Doughnut Company is located at 439 Brock Avenue in Downtown Burlington.
They offer a wide variety of options when it comes to donut flavours – their Burly Cream doughnut and Dulce De Leche Doughnut are a must try. Go early in the day as they do sell out!
Turtle Doves is a gluten free bakery that offers an array of different baked goods but their donuts are a must try! Turtle Doves is located at 175 Plains Road in Aldershot.
Their strawberry shortcake doughnut not only looks and smells delicious it tastes delicious as well! Their doughnuts tend to sell out fast so be sure to call ahead if you would like the store to hold some for you!
